Annual Clarendon Lecture 2023

The Annual Clarendon Lecture 2023 was held at Salisbury Museum on 16th November 2023. The talk was given by Professor Chris Given-Wilson of the University of St Andrews, and titled "Politics as Recreation: Clarendon Palace in the Fourteenth Century".

Festival of Archaeology

1253 Queen's tiled floor

Henry III ordered a new tiled floor for Queen Eleanor's (Eleanor of Provence) chamber.
